Biography
Alexis Hayère was born in Paris in 1988. He lives and works in Issy-les-Moulineaux. He studied at the National School of Art in Dijon, then became the assistant artists Vincent Ganivet and Nathalie Elemento. After several exhibitions as part of his studies, the Fondation Villa Datris (Isle of Sorgue) offered him in 2015 to be part of Archi-Sculpture, an exhibition devoted to architecture. A few months later, he was appointed to the Emerige Revelations Exchange.
The Empiriste exhibition at the Emerige Foundation (Paris) presents Espace en chainé, an in situ installation that shows a mesh of intertwined chains in a corridor. Covering a large area of 1.60 x 4.50 meters, the track is occupied by this plan of chains, directly screwed into the walls. The work remains tense in space at a height of 1.60 meters, leaving the passage possible. The spectator must apprehend the vaulted hallway, thus pacing a new space, that of sculpture.

As Spring 2016 approaches, Espace Meyer Zafra offers him his first monographic exhibition. Then he has a second solo exhibition, Gramma, in 2022.
